Product Description

Cefuroxime is bactericidal against many organisms, including many beta-lactamaseproducing strains. Among second generation cephalosporin only cefuroxime crosses blood brain barrier. Cefuroxime is highly active against gram-negative cocci, gram negative bacilli, anaerobes than gram-positive cocci and gram-positive bacilli. Listeria monocytogenes and some strains of enterococci like Enterococcus faecalis and MRSA are resistant to cefuroxime. Strength : 125/250/500 mg
